Vl53l0xextends the TOF ranging range to two meters with an accuracy of ± 3%. The measurement speed is faster than the previous generation, the ranging time is less than 30ms; it is more energy-saving, the power consumption in normal working mode is only 20MW, and the standby power consumption is only 5 μ a. The sensor completes the distance calculation in the output data of I2C bus interface, so the main controller of the system needs to be minimized.
The internal laser emits 940 nm of invisible light and does not harm the eyes.
This eliminates the problem of redistribution with other infrared proximity detection sensors and enhances the immunity to external light sources. The digital architecture and auto compensation function of the sensor can achieve high ambient light level.
